This month's Paws for Thought is a celebration of my Uncle Zac's life.

Regular readers will know that it was my birthday last month. Well, last week would have been my Uncle Zac's 12th. I didn't know him for very long, but he was a right character and I'd like to introduce you to him with some of my favourite photos.

He taught me everything he knew. Some of it useful (how to flush out a pheasant) and some of it downright useless (cocking your leg to have a pee. What's that all about?). He was also Teddy-the-cat's bestest mate before I came along. They used to go on big adventures together, and travelled for miles (in the company of human friend of course), in all weathers, just for the sheer joy of it. (I can understand that.)

There's a video here of me and Zac on an adventure of our own

One of those perfect days, burned into my memory and a constant reminder of my brilliant Uncle.
