Hurri-K9 weather

You canines in sunny climes may find it hard to believe, but we've had so much rain that the river burst it's banks today and I wasn't allowed to go swimming. It must have been bad 'cos I'd been rolling around in the muck heap this morning with Shadow (who's a lovely GSD puppy) and apparently I was 'filthy and smelly' and in need of a wash.

Honestly, my human friend lacks a sense of humour sometimes. I'm just doing my doggy duty by putting the puppy in his place before he gets bigger than me. Makes sense. And sometimes we roll around in the mud; sometimes in puddles; and, more often than not, in the muck heap. (He's pretty good looking is Shadow, so I'll post a picture of him soon.)

Anyway, back to the original story. The river was really raging, so if I had jumped in I would have ended up in Edinburgh apparently. All the wind and rain in our neck of the woods (Stirling) has something to do with Hurricane Katia which originated in the Atlantic off the east coast of the States. Surely, coming from that part of the world, it should bring sunshine and warm winds. What's going on there then? Weird. Anyway, I had to have a hose down instead when I got home. So, washed and groomed I figured the best thing to do was to snuggle up next to my AlphapetOnline buddy, Max. Meow baby...
