How long is a piece of string?

I think you know by now that I have a best friend called Shadow, who is a very handsome GSD. Well, obviously, a lot of my play time is spent with him whilst he's growing up and needs a little guidance and today was no exception.

Now I'm not sure if you know much about horsey people, but as well as spending time with their horses they also seem to spend a lot of time folding, tying, cutting, knotting and throwing away baling twine. For those horsey people with dogs it also comes in handy as a makeshift lead from time to time. Well, me and my Shadow have standards you know; which means that any baling twine we find has to be destroyed, just in case it should become attached to one of our collars. This usually involves me finding the orange, nylon stuff and Shadow trying to nick it off me. A tug of war will ensue until the dreaded string is destroyed. This game has to take place on the muck heap - obviously.

How long is a piece of string?
So I am pleased to report that, as of today, there is one less piece of baling twine in the world and Shadow can tell his human friend to stop being a tight wad and buy him a nice lead from AlphapetOnline's lovely selection. I think he'd look good in this one...

Keado leather lead in brown. There's a matching collar too.

Mucky Pups

Well, the weather may not have been to everyone's liking lately (especially when there had been lots of sun darn sarf and all we've seen oop norf is rain clouds), but that hasn't stopped me and my pal Shadow from having fun.

Muck-heap Pups

We really are mucky pups. At the stables the muck heap is the softest, warmest place to wrestle. Our human friends aren't keen on the mess we make, and I've been told that horse pooh tends to stick to my coat. Perhaps that's why I had a thorough wash when I got home. My human friend gave me a really good grooming session too. She just loves that Hamish grooming kit. All those instruments of torture to use on me and get me looking like a 'show' dog. Ouch!

Smelling and looking sweet
